All about sulfate-free shampoos

The formulation charter of our shampoos excludes sulfates. In order to provide a foaming effect, we replaced them with surfactants derived from coconut. Find out how to adopt this new routine.

Sulfates, what are those?

Sulfates are synthetic sulfur-based ingredients used as surfactants or foaming agents.

How will my scalp react to the first sulfate-free washes?

Being used to shampoos based on sulfated surfactants with a degreasing effect, your scalp will tend to produce a little more sebum the first times you use a sulfate-free shampoo.

Before you can fully enjoy its benefits, a few applications may be necessary to get your scalp used to it.

Here are our tips for using a sulfate-free shampoo:

1. Before the application, brush the hair while dry to detangle, remove impurities and thus improve the action of the shampoo.

2. Wet hair thoroughly. Apply the product generously from root to tip, massage gently until a foam is obtained. Add water or product if the foam is not satisfactory.

3. Rinse thoroughly with water.
